Terms and conditions

This agreement is between Attendee/s (The entity/entities who is/are legally in posession of a ticket/s to attend the Event), and the Organizer (Swift Community, LLC), in relation to the Event (Swift Summit San Francisco 2016, planned to be held November 7th + 8th 2016, at The Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco.)

Attendee Behavior:

1) Attendees agree to behave in a manner which is inclusive of all other attendees throughout the event. A full version of the Code of Conduct is available at www.swiftsummit.com/codeofconduct, adherence to which is a condition of entry. Breach of the Code of Conduct, e.g. via behaviour such as bullying or harassment, will lead to a forfeiture of the event ticket without refund. Discrimination towards other attendees based on sexual preference, religion, country of origin, gender, age or other attribute is a breach of these terms. The Organizer reserves the right to exercise their option to remove or not to remove attendees who are in breach, or to take other actions as per the Code of Conduct, at the organiser’s sole discretion.

Changes to event specifics:

2) While the organisers will endeavour to fulfil all advertised event billings and particulars, the Event Organizers reserve the right to make changes to event specifics, including but not limited to the venue, scheduling, speakers, and talk topics. No refund (full or partial), or concession shall be granted by organizers to attendees for changes to event specifics. It is considered a reasonable condition of sale that there may be changes to the event schedule, which will not warrant compensation to Attendees. Attendees and Organizers agree that there is a reasonable risk that the Event plan will change from what is advertised at time of sale, and that no claim against Organizers shall arise in connection with changes Event plans.

3) Attendees agree to hold harmless and release Organizer, its owners, agents, employees, officers, members, premises owners, insurers, and affiliated organizations from legal liability due to Organizer ordinary negligence; and Attendees further agree that except in the event of Organizer gross negligence and willful and wanton misconduct, Attendee shall not bring any claims, demand, legal actions and causes of action, against Organizer and/or its associates, for any economic and non-economic losses due to bodily injury, death, property damage, misstatement, defamation, errors, or incidents concerning information that was distributed at the event, sustained by Attendees in relation to the event, premises and operations of Organizer.

Refund and transfer:

5) There are no refunds on ticket sales after a 14 day cooling off period. In the case of extreme circumstances such as a medical scenario that prohibits a ticket holder from attending, Organizers may, at their sole discretion, decide to allow a partial refund not exceeding 75% no less than 30 days before the event (to allow for transaction, processing and market costs). There are absolutely no refunds within 30 days of the event under any circumstances. Tickets are able to be transferred to a different attendee at no cost by writing to the Organizer before the event.
